Job Description: We are seeking a Mid-Level Enterprise Backup Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Dell EMC Avamar, Veeam Backup & Replication, and Commvault as primary enterprise backup and recovery platforms.
This role focuses on administering, monitoring, and optimizing large-scale backup and disaster recovery environments, while working closely with infrastructure, application, storage, and cloud teams to ensure data protection, compliance, and recoverability across the enterprise.
Required Experience & Qualifications:-
- 4–7 years of enterprise backup administration experience
- Strong hands-on expertise with Dell EMC Avamar, Veeam Backup & Replication, and Commvault
- Experience with Data Domain integration, deduplication technologies (Avamar/DD Boost, Commvault DDB)
- Strong understanding of enterprise backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery concepts
- Windows and Linux system administration experience
- Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage, tape libraries, and D2D / D2D2T backup architectures
Backup and restore experience for enterprise applications:
- SQL Server
- Oracle
- SAP HANA
- Microsoft Exchange
- VMware
- Experience using ticketing tools and ITIL-based support processes
- Strong documentation, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills
