About the RoleWe are hiring a Backend / Web Services Engineer with strong expertise in JSON-based APIs, real-time systems, and scalable backend development.
You will be responsible for building high-performance, production-grade web services and working on real-time data-driven applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop RESTful APIs and web services (JSON-based)
- Build scalable backend systems using Node.js (Express) or Django
- Develop real-time systems using WebSockets / event-driven architecture
- Integrate third-party APIs and external platforms
- Implement Redis caching for performance optimization
- Optimize database queries (PostgreSQL / MongoDB)
- Develop secure authentication and authorization systems
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch)
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and high availability
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in code reviews
Required Skills- Strong experience in Backend Development & Web Services
- Expertise in JSON, REST APIs, and HTTP protocols
- Hands-on experience with Node.js (Express) or Django
- Experience with WebSockets / real-time data handling
- Strong knowledge of Redis (caching, pub/sub)
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB
- Understanding of microservices & event-driven architecture
- Knowledge of API security (JWT, OAuth, etc.)
Preferred Skills- Experience in high-throughput / real-time applications
- Exposure to fintech / trading platforms / data streaming systems
- Familiarity with Docker, Nginx, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of distributed systems and concurrency handling

- Candidates available to work in US shift (3 PM – 12 AM IST)
