Position Overview
Fleet Force Global seeks a Backend Developer with strong system architecture capabilities and a creative mindset for building dynamic, interactive digital platforms. This role requires more than traditional backend development; we need someone who understands how backend systems directly shape user experience, platform responsiveness, automation, and intelligent logistics workflows.
The ideal candidate can design scalable backend infrastructure while creating modern, visually engaging, and highly interactive web experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend infrastructure for a global logistics platform
- Build APIs and microservices supporting real-time freight quoting, shipment visibility, member directories, and logistics workflows
- Develop backend architecture for interactive website features, including live dashboards, quote generators, chat systems, AI-powered tools, and dynamic member portals
- Integrate third-party services such as Stripe, WhatsApp APIs, CRM systems, mapping APIs, and logistics data providers
- Optimize database performance, scalability, and security across large datasets and international user traffic
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between backend logic and user-facing experiences
- Contribute to technical roadmap discussions and platform scalability strategy
Qualifications
- Experience with Node.js, Python, or Go
- Knowledge of REST APIs and scalable backend services
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other scalable databases
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, SQL, JavaScript and frontend designs.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar platforms.
- Ability to integrate payment systems such as Stripe
- Familiarity with AI integrations, chatbot systems, or automation tools
- Experience supporting high-traffic or marketplace-style platforms strongly preferred
