About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Backend Developer with a strong background in time series analysis, forecasting, and data-driven backend systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services that support forecasting pipelines, analytics platforms, and intelligent decision systems utilized across various business units. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with innovative technologies and contribute to impactful projects that enhance organizational decision-making and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in Python programming and experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django. Proficiency in REST API design and microservices architecture is essential. The candidate should have hands-on experience with time series modeling and forecasting techniques, utilizing libraries like statsmodels, Prophet, scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis is required. Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, and experience working with large datasets are also important. Additional skills in containerization with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and message queuing systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ are advantageous. A background in deploying ML models and understanding MLOps practices will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining robust backend services using Python, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. You will develop APIs and microservices to serve time series forecasts and analytics results efficiently. Building and productionizing forecasting pipelines for large-scale time series data is a core part of the role, involving data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model serving workflows. You will integrate forecasting models into production systems, implementing monitoring and retraining pipelines to maintain accuracy and performance. Collaborating closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and product teams to deploy forecasting solutions is essential. You will also be responsible for maintaining high code quality standards, comprehensive testing coverage, and clear documentation to facilitate ongoing development and maintenance.
