Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Backend Platform Engineer. The Backend Platform Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend systems to support ENGINPILOT's unified industrial intelligence platform. Responsibilities include writing scalable and efficient code, troubleshooting and resolving platform issues, optimizing databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop robust infrastructure. The engineer will also ensure system reliability and implement best practices for backend software development in alignment with engineering goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with expertise in developing backend systems and scalable solutions
- Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve system issues efficiently
- Experience with Infrastructure design and implementation to support platform reliability and robustness
- Knowledge of Databases, including optimization and management for backend applications
- Bachelor's degree/Master in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to collaborate in a team setting and a strong understanding of engineering workflows
- Experience in industrial intelligence, digital twins, or physics-governed systems will be an added advantage

- Experience working on platform or infrastructure products
- Experience in enterprise SaaS, infrastructure, or deep-tech environments
- Open-source contributions or engineering side projects
- Strong problem-solving and architecture mindset
