About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our fully remote team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing scalable, high-performance backend systems that support our innovative SMS marketing platform. Your expertise will help drive the automation and optimization of our services, ensuring reliable and efficient delivery of features to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging artificial intelligence tools to streamline development processes and improve product quality. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in backend development, with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot frameworks. Proficiency in SQL and database design is essential, along with hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub and Jenkins is required. An interest or experience in AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable is highly desirable. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are vital, especially for remote work environments, along with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
Responsibilities
As a Backend Developer at Textellent, Inc., your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the core backend functionalities of our platform using Java and Spring Boot. You will design, implement, and optimize database schemas to ensure data integrity and performance. Managing cloud infrastructure on AWS will be a key part of your role, involving deployment, scaling, and monitoring applications. You will establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and delivery, ensuring rapid and reliable deployment cycles. Additionally, you will leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and deployment processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including product managers, frontend developers, and data scientists—will be essential to delivering impactful features that meet customer needs and enhance platform capabilities.
