About the Role:
We are seeking highly skilled Backend Engineer to lead the integration of AI and LLMs into our enterprise ecosystem. You’ll build scalable Python/Java microservices on AWS, focusing on creating robust guardrails and orchestration patterns to ensure production-grade AI reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
System Architecture: Design, build, and maintain high availability microservices using Python or Java.
AI Integration: Integrate and optimize LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI) into enterprise workflows, focusing on prompt reliability and output validation.
API Management: Develop and document REST APIs, ensuring strict schema validation and seamless JSON payload handling.
Cloud Operations: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker within an AWS environment, supported by automated CI/CD pipelines.
Data Strategy: Manage and optimize data flows across Document DB/MongoDB and relational databases.
Resiliency Engineering: Implement robust AI guardrails, including retry logic, latency optimization, and rate limiting to ensure enterprise-grade stability.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong backend development experience (Python, Java)
• Proven experience building and maintaining microservices
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON payloads, and schema validation
• Experience integrating LLM / AI APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
• Ability to design guardrails for AI outputs (validation, retries, fallbacks)
• Experience working with AWS and containerized deployments (Docker)
• Familiarity with Document DB / MongoDB and relational databases • Experience in integrating with existing enterprise systems
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
•Experience with test automation platforms or QA systems
•Familiarity with keyword-driven or DSL-based automation frameworks
•Exposure to prompt engineering or AI orchestration patterns
•Experience with GitHub/GitLab APIs and webhooks
•Basic Knowledge of caching, rate limiting, and latency optimization

•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
