Role Description
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to help build and improve the core backend systems behind Memnox.
You will work on APIs, integrations, event processing, data pipelines, and backend services that power the platform’s intelligence and AI workflows.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving backend problems, building scalable systems, and working on modern developer infrastructure in a fast-moving environment.
This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
- Develop APIs and integrations with platforms like GitHub, Slack, and Jira
- Work with PostgreSQL and backend data models
- Help build event-driven workflows and background processing systems
- Collaborate with frontend and AI engineers to deliver product features
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance
- Participate in debugging, testing, and production support workflows
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Familiarity with Node.js backend development
- Basic understanding of REST APIs
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows
- Ability to write clean and maintainable code
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Comfortable learning new technologies and working in a remote environment
