Backend Engineer (Contractual – 1 Year)
Experience: 3–5 Years
We are hiring a Backend Engineer (Contractual) with 3–5 years of experience for a 1-year contract role. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Node.js and prior experience in a product-based company.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices
- Build and optimize REST/GraphQL APIs
- Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and QA teams
- Monitor systems, debug issues, and improve efficiency
- Contribute to system architecture and technical decisions
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles
- Experience with PostgreSQL and database management
- Familiarity with Redis and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
Good To Have
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
