Backend Developer Executive – AI Systems

Role Overview
We are looking for a Backend Executive with strong Python and AI system development experience who can build, maintain, and optimize backend services that power AI platforms, automation systems, and intelligent applications.
The candidate will work closely with our AI engineering and platform teams to develop scalable APIs, integrate AI models, manage databases, and support production systems used across multiple industries including healthcare, education, and enterprise AI platforms.
Mandatory Technical SkillsBackend Development
- Strong Python programming
- Experience building APIs using FastAPI
- Development of RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of authentication systems (JWT, OAuth2)
- Experience with async programming (asyncio)
- API documentation using OpenAPI / Swagger
- Debugging and performance optimization
Databases
- PostgreSQL / MySQL
- MongoDB
- ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy
- Database schema design and optimization
- Caching using Redis
AI Integration (Preferred)
- Experience integrating AI/ML models into backend systems
- Working with AI APIs, inference pipelines, or model services
- Understanding of data pipelines and AI workflows
- Experience with LLMs or AI frameworks is a plus
DevOps Basics
- Docker containerization
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / GitLab / Jenkins
- Linux server management
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services for AI applications
- Build FastAPI-based microservices
- Integrate AI models and machine learning pipelines
- Design and manage databases and data pipelines
- Optimize system performance and API reliability
- Support deployment of backend systems using Docker and cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with AI engineers and product teams
- Ensure security, scalability, and uptime of backend systems
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to AI platforms or AI product development
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience working with large datasets or AI pipelines
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging systems
