Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Backend Developer. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems to support web applications. Responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing performance. The Backend Developer will also engage in implementing object-oriented design practices and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Familiarity with Front-End Development to work collaboratively with front-end teams
- Programming skills in languages commonly used in backend systems (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby, or Node.js)
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Experience in debugging and optimizing backend application performance
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with databases and RESTful API integrations is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
