Job Description
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience, building and scaling server-side applications, APIs and database architectures.
- Strong programming proficiency in PHP and core Laravel framework concepts.
- Proven experience in building admin panels or dashboards using Filament PHP.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and security protocols (OAuth, JWT, data encryption).
Job Specification
API Development & Integration: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices to support mobile app features, user authentication and data retrieval.
Database Management & Optimization: Design and manage database schemas (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB) to handle massive catalogs of audio files, user profiles, playlists and metadata efficiently.
Streaming Infrastructure & Storage: Implement and optimize audio file delivery pipelines, content delivery network (CDN) integrations and secure cloud storage solutions for high-speed music streaming.
Security & Scalability: Ensure data protection, secure user authentication (OAuth/JWT) and system scalability to handle traffic spikes during major artist drops or viral campaigns.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Frontend Developers, Product Managers, and the Operations team to ensure backend support for content ingestion, royalty tracking queries and analytics dashboards.
Admin Dashboard & CMS: Build and maintain back-office operations tools, content ingestion interfaces and analytics dashboards using Filament PHP.
