About the Role
Visiomatix Media is looking for a passionate and driven Backend Developer Intern who is eager to gain real-world experience in building scalable and efficient backend systems. This internship is ideal for candidates who want to strengthen their development skills and work on live projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining backend systems and APIs
- Work with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) for data management
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions
- Help optimize applications for performance and scalability
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js / Python / PHP / Java – any one)
- Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Basic knowledge of Git/version control
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience with frameworks like Express.js, Django, or Laravel
- Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Firebase, etc.)
