As we emerge from stealth mode, we're looking for passionate Backend Developer Interns who want to build enterprise-grade SaaS platforms while learning how modern backend systems are engineered in the era of AI.
The Future of Software Development
Software development is changing rapidly.
Today, AI tools can generate code, write tests, explain errors, and even build complete APIs. Because of this, writing code is no longer the most valuable skill on its own.
What matters more is understanding:
- What problem needs to be solved.
- Why a particular architecture is appropriate.
- How scalable backend systems are designed.
- How APIs, databases, queues, authentication, caching, and infrastructure work together.
- How to communicate requirements clearly to AI coding assistants and fellow engineers.
- How to review, validate, improve, and maintain AI-generated code.
- How to build secure, reliable, and maintainable software.
During this internship, you will certainly write code yourself, but you will also learn how to work alongside AI development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and other coding agents. We expect interns to think like backend engineers—not just programmers.
The best developers of the future will not be those who type the fastest, but those who understand systems, architecture, scalability, security, and can effectively direct AI to build production-quality software.
What You'll DoBackend Development
Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI while following enterprise software engineering best practices.
AI-Assisted Software Development
Learn how to effectively use AI coding assistants to:
- Design backend architectures
- Generate APIs and business logic
- Review and improve generated code
- Debug complex backend issues
- Refactor existing services
- Produce secure, scalable, production-ready software
API Development
Design, build, document, and maintain REST APIs with proper validation, authentication, authorization, error handling, and versioning.
Database Development
Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL. Design schemas, write efficient queries, optimize database performance, and understand transactions, indexing, and migrations.
Authentication & Security
Implement secure authentication, authorization, RBAC, input validation, and follow backend security best practices.
Background Processing
Develop asynchronous tasks, scheduled jobs, queues, and event-driven workflows where appropriate.
Performance & Scalability
Optimize APIs, database queries, caching strategies, concurrency, and application performance for production workloads.
Debugging & Troubleshooting
Identify root causes of issues using logs, monitoring tools, and systematic debugging techniques instead of trial-and-error.
Code Quality
Participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, write reusable modules, and improve maintainability through clean architecture principles.
Refactoring
Continuously improve existing services by simplifying code, improving modularity, and reducing technical debt.
Continuous Learning
Stay current with Python, FastAPI, backend architecture, cloud technologies, AI-assisted development workflows, and engineering best practices.
What We're Looking ForEducational Background
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong Fundamentals
We value strong fundamentals over simply knowing frameworks.
You should have a solid understanding of:
- Python
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Data Structures & Algorithms
- REST APIs
- HTTP fundamentals
- SQL and relational databases
- FastAPI (preferred) or Flask/Django
- Git
- Basic Linux command line
- Problem solving
Understanding why a system is designed a certain way is far more valuable than simply knowing how to use a framework.
AI Mindset
Comfortable learning and working with AI-assisted development tools. Ability to write clear prompts, critically evaluate AI-generated code, identify mistakes, and improve implementations rather than accepting outputs blindly.
Systems Thinking
Interest in understanding how APIs, databases, authentication, caching, background workers, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems work together to build reliable software.
Problem Solving
Strong analytical skills with the ability to decompose complex backend features into smaller, well-designed implementation tasks.
Communication
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
Team Player

Internship Details
- Position: Full-time or Part-time Internship
- Expected Commitment: Minimum 4–5 hours per day
- Duration: 3 Months (90 Days)
- Internship Type: Paid
Remuneration
- Monthly Stipend: ₹15,000–₹20,000
- Pre-Placement Offer (PPO): Based on performance and business requirements
