At Unifiers.ai, we're building AI-powered products that help businesses automate outreach, improve email deliverability, and scale customer engagement. Our platform combines AI, automation, and robust backend systems to power high-volume communication and enterprise workflows.
We're looking for a Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Email Infrastructure to build, optimize, and maintain scalable email systems that ensure high deliverability, reliability, and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities -
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for email delivery and automation.
- Build and optimize email sending infrastructure for high-volume outbound campaigns.
- Configure and manage email authentication protocols including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and reverse DNS.
- Monitor sender reputation, inbox placement, bounce rates, spam complaints, and email performance.
- Integrate with email service providers and SMTP platforms such as Amazon SES, Mailgun, SendGrid, Postmark, Mailchimp Transactional (Mandrill), or similar.
- Develop APIs and backend services to support campaign management and email workflows.
- Troubleshoot email delivery issues and optimize infrastructure for maximum deliverability.
- Work with AI and product teams to build scalable outreach and communication systems.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for backend services.
- Maintain security, scalability, and high availability of backend applications.
Required Skills -
- 1-3 years of backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and backend architecture.
- Solid understanding of SMTP, email protocols, and transactional email systems.
- Hands-on experience configuring:
- SPF
- DKIM
- DMARC
- MX Records
- DNS
- Reverse DNS (PTR)
- Experience with email warm-up, sender reputation management, and deliverability best practices.
