Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Node.js Backend Developer with strong expertise in developing scalable backend applications, REST APIs, and Microservices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, API development, and backend integration while working in an Agile environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
- Design and build secure, scalable REST APIs on Microsoft Azure.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement Azure-native services and cloud components.
- Enhance and migrate legacy applications to Azure environments.
- Develop and maintain Microservices architecture.
- Integrate backend systems using REST APIs, JSON, XML, and third-party services.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, UI/UX, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards.
- Perform unit testing and ensure application reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when required.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of software development experience.
- Strong programming experience in Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with Express.js or NestJS.
- Experience in developing REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Azure components/services.
- Experience in SQL Server, T-SQL, or Azure SQL Database.
- Experience with Azure Cosmos DB or NoSQL databases.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience integrating third-party APIs.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
