About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at Namasys Analytics. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Python, FastAPI, and building robust web application backends. This role involves designing and implementing scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems that support our AI-powered applications, APIs, and workflow automation solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with AI engineers, frontend developers, and product teams to develop innovative features, optimize system performance, and ensure seamless integration with external services and databases. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of agentic AI systems and large language model (LLM) applications that are at the forefront of AI innovation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess between 3 to 6 years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Python and FastAPI frameworks. Proven experience in building production-grade web application backends, designing RESTful APIs, and working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB is essential. Familiarity with ORM tools like SQLAlchemy or SQLModel, as well as experience with Redis, Celery, queues, and event-driven architectures, is highly desirable. Candidates should have practical knowledge of integrating third-party APIs, external services, and AI applications involving LLMs, RAG, and workflow automation. A solid understanding of authentication, role-based access control, API security, and data validation is required. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker, version control systems such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) will be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI to support our AI-driven applications and platforms.
- Design and develop clean, efficient, and secure REST APIs to facilitate seamless integration with frontend systems, third-party services, and internal tools.
- Create and optimize backend systems for web applications, dashboards, and internal workflows, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Work on developing AI-powered workflows, agentic systems, and applications leveraging large language models and other AI tools.
- Integrate external APIs, databases, vector databases, message queues, and cloud services to enhance system capabilities and data flow.
- Develop systems that can call tools, manage complex workflows, process documents, and automate business tasks efficiently.
- Implement security measures including authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and error handling to ensure system integrity and compliance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate effectively with frontend developers, product teams, and AI engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability through continuous improvement and best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
