About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at Namasys Analytics. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Python, FastAPI, and building robust web application backends. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient backend services that power our AI-driven applications and workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including AI engineers, frontend developers, and product managers to develop innovative solutions that leverage large language models, external APIs, and automation tools. Your expertise will directly contribute to building systems capable of managing complex workflows, integrating diverse data sources, and automating business processes with high reliability and performance.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have between 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Python and FastAPI. A proven track record of developing production-grade web backends is essential. You should have a solid understanding of REST API design, asynchronous programming, and backend architecture principles. Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, along with ORM frameworks like SQLAlchemy or SQLModel, is required. Familiarity with caching and message queuing systems such as Redis and Celery is highly desirable. Candidates should also have practical experience in integrating third-party APIs, working with AI models, and automating workflows using tools like LangChain or similar frameworks. Knowledge of containerization (Docker), version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) will be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that support our AI-powered applications. Key responsibilities include building secure and efficient REST APIs, developing backend systems for web dashboards and internal tools, and working on agentic AI workflows and LLM-based applications. You will integrate various third-party APIs, databases, vector databases, queues, and cloud services to ensure seamless data flow and automation. Implementing authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and error handling will be critical to maintaining system integrity and reliability. Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code is a priority, along with collaborating closely with frontend developers, AI engineers, and product teams to deliver innovative solutions. You will also optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability, participate in architecture discussions, and contribute to technical planning to align with business goals.
