About The Role
We are seeking talented backend engineers who are passionate about building robust systems that millions of users trust with their financial data. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable APIs and backend services that handle high-volume transactions securely and efficiently. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend developers, and infrastructure specialists, to deliver innovative features and improve existing solutions. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely from anywhere within the IST timezone, fostering a truly global and inclusive team environment.
Qualifications
- Up to 5 years of experience in backend development using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, Node.js, C#, or Scala.
- Proven experience in building and scaling distributed systems that maintain performance under pressure.
- Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge, including AWS, OCI, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with messaging and event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a global team.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement APIs capable of processing millions of transactions daily, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- Debug and resolve production issues efficiently, employing investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Transform innovative ideas into functional features, contributing to product development and enhancement.
- Shape engineering culture by advocating best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that aligns with the team’s quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Participate in system design discussions, architecture planning, and technical decision-making processes.
