About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Back End Developer to join our dynamic team on a full-time remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components that power Fini’s AI-driven support platform. Your primary focus will be on building scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems that facilitate seamless integration with various front-end applications and third-party platforms. You will work closely with front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers to create robust software solutions that meet our high standards of quality and performance. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing existing systems, implementing new features, and ensuring the overall reliability and security of our services. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the capabilities of Fini’s AI support solutions and ensuring our clients receive the best possible service experience.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Back-End Web Development and software engineering principles
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) with strong knowledge of languages such as Python, Java, or similar
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies to facilitate effective collaboration with front-end teams
- Experience in designing scalable, high-performance back-end processes and architectures
- Hands-on experience with database management systems, including relational and NoSQL databases
- Strong skills in developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the core server-side logic of Fini’s AI customer support platform. Key responsibilities include designing scalable backend architectures that support high-volume processing, implementing secure data handling practices, and ensuring system robustness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with front-end applications and third-party platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and operational efficiency. Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code is essential, along with conducting thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues proactively. You will also be tasked with optimizing system performance, implementing security measures to protect sensitive data, and maintaining system uptime and reliability. Continuous improvement of backend processes and staying updated with emerging technologies and best practices will be vital to your role. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support deployment and monitoring activities to ensure seamless service delivery.
