Role Overview
We are seeking a Backend Engineer to architect and implement the backend infrastructure. The role is backend-heavy with a focus on APIs, microservices, databases, and third-party integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend APIs and services.
- Implement business logic for deal pipelines, job workflows, and CRM integrations.
- Develop database schemas and optimize queries (PostgreSQL, Firebase, Snowflake).
- Build and secure integrations with Stripe (payments), Twilio (chat/voice), HubSpot, QuickBooks.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth CI/CD and infra deployment.
- Write unit/integration tests and support QA automation.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of backend engineering experience.
- Expertise in Node.js/Express, NestJS, TypeScript.
- Experience with SQL (Postgres/MySQL) and NoSQL (Firebase/Firestore).
- Familiarity with n8n/Zapier orchestration is a plus.
- Strong grasp of cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Understanding of RBAC, OAuth2, JWT, MFA security practices.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
