About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our talented engineering team based in Bangalore. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems that are integral to our fintech platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and frontend developers, to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex data-intensive platforms that are transforming financial analytics for some of the world's leading investment firms. You will utilize modern technologies and best practices to build systems capable of handling large-scale data processing, high concurrency, and demanding performance requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in backend development, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and efficient systems.
- B.Tech degree from a Tier 1 college with an academic performance of 8+ CGPA.
- Hands-on experience with Python is essential; familiarity with Java or Go is a plus.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, database systems, and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience working with advanced storage solutions such as Redis, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Architect, refine, and scale complex backend systems using Python, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and scalable to meet growing business needs.
- Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and resource utilization to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Design and build systems capable of handling high concurrency and large-scale data processing to support real-time analytics and insights.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and architectures.
- Work extensively with advanced storage and database systems such as Redis, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Drive best practices in coding, testing, deployment, and continuous integration to maintain high-quality code standards across the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior team members to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
