About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at Namasys Analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, particularly with FastAPI, and possess experience in building robust web application backends and AI-powered systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on scalable backend services, develop complex APIs, and contribute to the creation of agentic AI workflows that integrate seamlessly with large language models, databases, and external tools. As a key member of our engineering team, you will collaborate closely with frontend developers, AI engineers, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions that meet business objectives and enhance user experiences.
Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience in backend development, with a proven track record of delivering production-grade applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language, with hands-on experience using FastAPI framework.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, asynchronous programming, and backend architecture principles.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs) including SQLAlchemy, SQLModel, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of caching and message queuing systems like Redis, Celery, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs, cloud services, and external tools into backend systems.
- Practical experience developing and deploying AI applications involving large language models, agentic workflows, and automation tools.
- Understanding of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, data validation, and API security protocols.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, containerization with Docker, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Create secure, efficient, and well-documented codebases to support web applications, dashboards, and internal tools.
- Build and optimize backend systems for AI-powered workflows, agentic systems, and large language model integrations.
- Integrate with third-party APIs, databases, vector databases, message queues, and cloud services to enhance system capabilities.
- Develop automation workflows, document processing pipelines, and business process management systems.
- Implement authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and error handling to ensure system reliability and security.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, AI engineers, and product teams to deliver seamless and innovative solutions.
- Participate in architectural discussions, technical planning, and code reviews to uphold high-quality standards.
- Optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability to meet evolving business needs.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
