Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Backend Architect with strong expertise in designing scalable, high-performance backend systems using .NET, Azure, and Microservices architecture.
The ideal candidate should have strong architectural and technical leadership experience, with the ability to drive backend engineering best practices, system design decisions, and scalable cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend systems and enterprise-grade applications
- Define and drive Microservices architecture and distributed system design
- Lead technical architecture discussions and solution design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering and business functions
- Perform code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
- Drive CI/CD, deployment, and cloud engineering initiatives
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership
- Ensure high system performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and C#
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and REST APIs
- Experience with Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, and Clean Architecture
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable application design
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience integrating third-party systems and enterprise platforms
Good to Have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to Event-Driven Architecture
- Azure certifications
- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7–9 years of software development experience
- Proven experience leading backend engineering teams or architecture initiatives
