We’re Hiring: SDET – Backend API Tester
We are looking for an experienced SDET – Backend API Tester to join our engineering team.
📍 Experience: 5–8 Years
📍 Location: Bangalore
📍 Employment Type: Full-time
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Analyze functional and technical requirements for backend APIs and services
- Perform manual and automation testing of RESTful APIs
- Develop and maintain API automation frameworks using Java, Rest Assured, TestNG, and JUnit
- Write and manage test cases using Azure DevOps or JIRA
- Debug server logs and support root cause analysis with developers
- Validate Spring Boot microservices and Kubernetes deployments
- Test backend integrations with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement grooming, and QA sign-offs
🔹 Required Skills
✔ Strong experience in Java-based API automation
✔ Hands-on expertise with Rest Assured, TestNG, and JUnit
✔ Good understanding of Microservices Architecture & REST APIs
✔ Experience with Spring Boot applications
✔ Exposure to Kubernetes and Docker environments
✔ Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
✔ Strong analytical and debugging skills
🎓 Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
