Role Overview
The selected consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications integrated with the Backbase platform, contributing to enterprise-scale digital banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications integrated with Backbase
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver new features
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and stability
- Identify and resolve technical issues and bottlenecks
- Maintain clean, well-documented, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Collaborate with client stakeholders for requirement understanding
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Java (8+)
- Hands-on experience with Backbase (CXP / DBS preferred)
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with REST APIs and web services
- Working knowledge of SQL and databases
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have
- Agile / Scrum project experience
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- DevOps exposure: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins
- Java or Backbase-related certifications
