Job Title: Back End Developer (SDE I)
Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Backend Engineer (2 to 5 years of
experience) to design, scale, and optimize our macroservices-based web platform. In
this role, you will focus entirely on a distributed macroservices architecture, building
robust server-side logic for our web platform.
You will take full ownership of developing developer-facing Web SDKs, optimizing our
PostgreSQL database, managing AWS services, integrating key third-party platforms
(like MSG91 Cloud), and independently setting up and maintaining your own CI/CD
deployment pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Macroservices & Web Architecture:Maintain, scale, and optimize our core server-
side logic built on Python using a macroservices architecture designed specifically for
our web platform.
2.API Design & Performance: Develop and manage high-performance, secure
RESTful APIs that serve web platform users and external client integrations.
3.Authentication & Security: Implement and manage secure user authentication and
authorization flows across services utilizing dedicated JWT (JSON Web Token)
packages.
4.Third-Party Integrations: Own the integration and management of vital third-party
services
5.Database Optimization: Manage our cloud-hosted PostgreSQL macroservice
databases, tracking indices and queries to optimize responsiveness under heavy
concurrent web traffic.
6.Cloud & DevOps Automation: Administer AWS services environments, monitor
service health, and independently design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for
seamless code deployment.
Technical Requirements
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of professional backend web development
experience.
• Language & Core Framework: Mastery of Python and comprehensive
practical knowledge of building scalable web APIs (e.g., Django REST
Framework, FastAPI, Flask).
• Architecture & Auth: Proven experience working extensively with
macroservices, utilizing standard JWT packages for robust cross-service
token management.
• External Services: Hands-on experience integrating and troubleshooting
third-party APIs and cloud services
• SDK & API Delivery: Proven experience building or maintaining developer-
facing tools, specifically custom Web SDKs, structured API libraries, or widely
used external REST APIs.
• Database Management: Strong hands-on experience using PostgreSQL
within a macroservices context (schema optimization, query auditing, and
indexing).
• Cloud & DevOps: Direct experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3)
along with a track record of setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines
autonomously.
