About the Internship- We are looking for a motivated Back-End Developer (MERN Stack) Intern to join our tech team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to build scalable back-end systems and gain hands-on experience in server-side development. As a back-end developer intern, you will work on real-world projects, develop RESTful APIs, and optimize server performance using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
- Work with MongoDB (NoSQL databases) to store and retrieve data efficiently.
- Optimize database queries and ensure data security and integrity.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth, or similar protocols.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services as needed.
- Debug and troubleshoot server-side issues to ensure smooth application performance.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Work with Git/GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
- Stay updated with the latest MERN stack technologies and back-end development trends.
Requirements:- Basic knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with API development, CRUD operations, and middleware usage.
- Basic understanding of database design and indexing in MongoDB.
- Experience with JWT authentication, session management, or OAuth is a plus.
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS, or Firebase is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
