Role Overview
We’re looking for a Backend Developer (4–6 years experience) to join our Core Video Team, working
directly with the CTO on high-impact initiatives. You will design, build, and scale systems that power
our image and video optimization platform, serving billions of requests daily. This role involves endto-
end ownership from architecture and development to deployment and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
Build and scale highly efficient backend systems for video processing and live streaming
Own end-to-end development: design → implementation → testing → deployment
Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
Enhance code quality, architecture, and engineering best practices
Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines
Contribute to feature development and ongoing product improvements
Job Requirements
4–6 years of backend development experience
Strong experience in JavaScript / Node.js (preferred) or any modern scripting language
Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms
Experience building API-driven, scalable, distributed systems
Working knowledge of non-relational databases (MongoDB preferred)
Good to Have
Experience with FFmpeg
Exposure to media processing or streaming systems
Experience in startup or fast-paced environments
