About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled PHP Laravel Developer with 1–3 years of experience to join our team at Eva2z. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills and hands-on experience in building and maintaining APIs and websites, along with expertise in using AI tools for code review, optimization, and scalability improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems using PHP and Laravel
- Design and build scalable REST APIs
- Work on backend architecture for websites ensuring performance and reliability
- Use AI tools to enhance code quality, automate code reviews, and improve scalability
- Optimize database queries and application performance
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members
- Debug, test, and deploy high-quality applications
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
Requirements- 1–3 years of experience in PHP and Laravel development
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and MVC architecture
- Experience with REST API development and integration
- Proficiency in MySQL or similar databases
- Hands-on experience with Git/version control
- Familiarity with AI-powered developer tools (e.g., for code review, debugging, or optimization)
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)- Experience with performance optimization and scalability techniques
- Understanding of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, etc.)
- Experience working in an agile development environment
