We’re Hiring: Senior Backend Developer - ERP & Application

Bulk Basket India is building a technology-driven B2B procurement platform for hotels, restaurants, cafés, caterers, cloud kitchens, QSRs, and institutional buyers.
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who can take complete ownership of our ERP - front end & back end, customer application APIs, admin panel integrations, database architecture, automation workflows, and third-party integrations.
### Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and scale the backend of our ERP.
- Build secure and well-structured REST APIs for web and mobile applications.
- Handle modules including:
- Order Management
- Inventory and Warehouse Management
- Procurement and Purchase
- Pricing Engine
- Customer Wallet and Credit Limit
- Finance and Accounting
- Payment Reconciliation
- Sales and CRM
- Returns, Shortages, and Refunds
- Reports and Analytics
- Design complex business workflows such as order processing, stock reservation, FEFO/FIFO picking, partial fulfilment, invoicing, payment posting, and approval systems.
- Integrate third-party services including:
- Payment gateways
- Banking and settlement APIs
- GST, e-Invoice, and e-Way Bill APIs
- WhatsApp, SMS, and Email services
- Google Maps and logistics APIs
- Improve database performance, API response time, system security, and application stability.
- Review existing code and restructure modules wherever required.
- Handle production deployment, bug fixing, version control, backups, and server monitoring.
- Coordinate with frontend developers, mobile app developers, UI/UX designers, and business teams.
- Convert business requirements into practical and scalable technical solutions.
- Guide junior developers and maintain proper technical documentation.
### Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience in PHP Laravel
- Strong knowledge of MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Experience in REST API development and integration
- Strong understanding of ERP architecture and business workflows
- Experience with authentication, role-based access control, permissions, and audit logs
- Knowledge of queues, cron jobs, background processing, caching, and notifications
- Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, code reviews, and deployment workflows
- Knowledge of AWS, Railway, DigitalOcean, or similar cloud platforms
- Understanding of Redis, Docker, CI/CD, and server management
- Experience in integrating payment gateways and external APIs
- Strong debugging, database optimization, and problem-solving skills
### Preferred Experience
- Experience in B2B commerce, wholesale, retail, distribution, logistics, ERP, WMS, or finance systems
- Experience with React, Next.js, or React Native integrations
- Experience in accounting automation, bank reconciliation, wallet systems, or credit management
- Experience in handling high-volume transactions and multi-location operations
- Experience in building scalable systems from an early-stage product to production level
