Role Description This is a full-time Back End Developer role in a hybrid setup, based in Jammu with some flexibility for work from home. The Back End Developer will design, build, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that power web and software products. Responsibilities include developing scalable architectures, writing clean and efficient code, integrating databases and third-party services, and ensuring performance, security, and reliability. The role involves collaborating with front-end developers, product teams, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions, as well as troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems. The developer will also participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Qualifications
- Strong back-end web development skills, including Back-End Web Development and general Programming.
- Experience in Software Development with a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Ability to collaborate with Front-End Development teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL), API design (REST/GraphQL), and version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of common back-end frameworks and languages (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python, or similar) and secure coding practices.
- Effective problem-solving skills, ability to work in a hybrid environment, and strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
