About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at Andor Tech. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of .NET technologies and have a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable backend systems. In this role, you will be responsible for building robust microservices, developing RESTful APIs, and ensuring the overall performance, security, and reliability of our backend infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and influence the technical direction of our backend architecture.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. They will have at least 6 years of professional experience in backend development, specifically with .NET and C#. A strong foundation in system design, architecture principles, and design patterns is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs, along with a solid understanding of Microservices architecture. Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server, ORM frameworks like Entity Framework or Dapper, and API security protocols including OAuth and JWT is required. Additionally, experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, along with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
The Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend services using .NET / .NET Core technologies. This includes leading and participating in system design discussions, creating architecture diagrams, and preparing detailed design documentation. The role involves building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices, adhering to best practices for security, performance, and maintainability. The developer will collaborate with frontend teams, DevOps, QA, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions. Writing clean, efficient, and testable code is a key aspect of the role, along with performing code reviews and mentoring junior developers to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Troubleshooting and debugging existing systems, optimizing performance, and supporting CI/CD pipelines are also integral responsibilities. Ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and reliable will be a primary focus, along with staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to implement innovative solutions.
