Role: BA Scrum Master
Job location: Pune (Work from office)
Job type: Permanent role
The ideal candidate will play a dual role in enabling business–technology alignment while facilitating Agile execution at team.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Scrum Master in Agile environments (Job is 80% of a BA and 20% scrum role.)
- Strong hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps and/or Jira.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Domain Experience
- Exposure or strong interest in Embedded Systems, IoT, IIoT, applications.
Expectations:
- Agile Ceremonies: Facilitate essential Agile ceremonies such as Sprint/PI Planning readiness, supporting Vision and Backlog preparation, and driving pre- and post-PI Planning meetings.
- Synchronization & Reporting: Facilitate periodic synchronization meetings (e.g., Scrum of Scrum, ART sync at the program level, and Value Stream sync for Solution Trains). Provide transparency and radiate status updates to stakeholders, including RTE/Lean Portfolio Management (LPM).
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Solution Management, Product Owners, and Software Leaders to ensure alignment of strategy and execution across teams.
- Execution Tracking: Help track the execution of features and capabilities, ensuring we remain aligned with business goals and timelines.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement through Inspect and Adapt workshops, assessing team agility levels and facilitating process enhancements.
- Built-in Quality: Foster quality practices within the agile framework to ensure robust deliverables.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with development teams to prepare capacity plans, manage risks, and prioritize backlog items. Ensure successful execution of sprint goals.
- Reporting & Metrics: Regularly prepare periodic reports, including burn-down charts, and track project status and risks.
- Mentorship: Act as a subject matter expert and mentor junior team members to maximize team productivity and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all concerns are addressed.
