Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA (Finance / Business Analytics) preferred.
Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with strong expertise in the Banking & Financial Services domain, along with solid Data Analytics and SQL skills. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, analyze complex financial data, and drive insights that support strategic decision-making and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement skills, and hands-on experience working with large datasets.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from banking and financial stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Perform data analysis using SQL to extract, manipulate, and validate large datasets.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and insights to support financial decision-making.
- Work closely with data engineering and technology teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and data mappings.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking/Financial Services.
- Strong experience in financial products such as:
- Retail Banking
- Corporate Banking
- Payments
- Loans & Mortgages
- Risk & Compliance
- Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience working with large datasets and data validation.
- Experience in business process modeling and workflow documentation.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
