Position Title: Scrum Master

Employment Type: Full time ( work from office)

Location: Hyderabad

Position Summary:

As an Offshore Scrum Master, you will facilitate and ensure the successful implementation of Agile methodologies for our data and analytics projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data analysts, and business analyst, to deliver high-quality solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the scrum process, promote collaboration, and remove any impediments that hinder the team's progress.

Key Responsibilities:

A) Scrum Process Management:

• Lead the scrum process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members.

B) Project Coordination:

• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to align project goals and deliverables.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize and manage the product backlog.
• Ensure the team understands project requirements and deliverables.

C) Impediment Removal:

• Identify and remove any obstacles that impede the team's progress.
• Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution to maintain team productivity.

D) Continuous Improvement:

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Conduct retrospectives to gather feedback and implement improvements in processes and practices.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members on Agile best practices.

E) Performance Tracking:

• Monitor team performance and project metrics to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Report on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.

Qualifications:

F) Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

G) Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in a data and analytics environment.
• Proven experience working with remote teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban.

I) Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Familiarity with data and analytics tools and technologies is a plus.

3) In the third step of the process, you will be talking with a recruiter to provide you more information about the job and prepare you for an interview with the hiring managers.

4) Lastly, depending on the role applied for, you will go through either one or two rounds of interviews with hiring managers at XponentL Data, Inc our client partner.
