ABOUT NEONEEV AI
NeoNeev AI is an early-stage, DPIIT-recognised startup helping Indian colleges get their students placement-ready.
Most placement cells still run on WhatsApp groups and an Excel sheet. We replace that with one platform:
- For students: a skill assessment, a Placement Readiness Score, a JD-ready resume and a learning path that closes their skill gaps.
- For the placement cell (TPO): a live placement pipeline, batch-level readiness reports and an employer tracker, set up in about a week.
- For employers: direct campus access and matched shortlists of freshers.
Colleges start with a free pilot. Students are never charged.
We lead with the college's real problem, not with "AI" buzzwords. We don't promise placements or invent numbers. We earn trust on campus first, through free workshops, student ambassadors and a pilot, and ask for a contract only after the college has seen results.
THE ROLE
You'll be our first dedicated B2B sales hire on the ground in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, a belt of 260+ colleges we've already mapped. You own the full cycle, from first WhatsApp to signed annual contract, and work directly with the founders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the territory. Work a mapped list of engineering, management, pharma and law colleges. Prioritise, visit, follow up.
- Win the TPO. Reach Training & Placement Officers by WhatsApp, LinkedIn, phone and campus visits. Run discovery calls to understand how their placement season really works.
- Map every gate. Most college deals need the TPO, HOD, Principal and Management to agree. Know who signs before you pitch.
- Open doors with workshops. Set up free GenAI and career-readiness workshops on campus. They are our main entry point, and our founders will present with you.
- Run demos and pilots. Show the TPO dashboard, book a free pilot, and make sure students onboard in the first 7 days.
- Close annual contracts. Convert pilots into paid agreements using our Letter of Intent and MoU.
- Work with our campus ambassadors. They build demand inside colleges; you turn it into institutional deals.
- Bring in local employers. Introduce NCR companies hiring freshers to our employer portal.
- Keep the CRM honest. Log every lead, meeting and stage in Zoho Bigin. Send a short weekly update.
- Be the voice of the field. Tell product what TPOs ask for, where deals stall and why.
WHO YOU ARE
- 1–4 years in B2B, institutional or field sales. Selling to colleges or universities is a strong plus; edtech, HRtech, assessment or campus-hiring products preferred.
- You've closed deals before, ideally annual contracts, and can name them.
- Existing relationships with TPOs, HODs or Directors in Noida, Greater Noida or Ghaziabad are a big plus.
- Comfortable in the field: 3–4 campus visits a week across NCR.
- Fluent in Hindi and English. You can present to a room of 100 students and negotiate with a trust member in the same week.
- You start things without being asked twice and follow them through.
- Comfortable with a CRM and Google Sheets / Excel.
Nice to have: you've run campus events or workshops; you've sold a product before it had big-name logos.
WHAT YOU GET
- Fixed pay: ₹20,000 per month.
- Commission on the annual contract value you close: 10% up to ₹10L, 15% on ₹10–25L, 20% above ₹25L. Uncapped. Paid on collection.
- A founding-team role: direct access to the founders and a real say in pricing, the pitch and the product.
- Growth: as the first sales hire, you're first in line to build and lead the NCR team as we scale.
- Travel for campus visits reimbursed.
WHAT YOU COULD EARN (ILLUSTRATIVE)
Assuming a ₹5L average annual contract, with commission slabs applied to each slice of ACV:
- 4 colleges closed in a year (₹20L): ₹2.5L commission + ₹2.4L fixed = about ₹4.9L
- 8 colleges closed (₹40L): ₹6.25L commission + ₹2.4L fixed = about ₹8.65L
- 12 colleges closed (₹60L): ₹10.25L commission + ₹2.4L fixed = about ₹12.65L
- Illustrative only, not a guarantee. Commission is paid on revenue actually collected.
