About the role
We're hiring a Content Development Specialist who knows logistics inside-out and operates a modern, AI-augmented content stack. You'll own the words behind our brand — across web, campaigns, sales enablement, and thought leadership — and you'll ship faster and sharper because you've made AI tools a real part of your craft, not a novelty.
This isn't a "writer who uses ChatGPT sometimes" role. We expect you to think in workflows: research with AI, draft with AI, edit human-first, and measure what landed.
What you'll do
- Develop content across the full B2B logistics funnel — website pages, long-form blogs, case studies, whitepapers, lifecycle email, social, sales decks, RFP responses, and exec thought leadership.
- Build and run AI-assisted content workflows (research → outline → draft → fact-check → polish → SEO → publish) that compress turnaround without compromising voice or accuracy.
- Translate complex logistics concepts — multimodal freight, WMS, last-mile, cross-border, 3PL economics, demand forecasting — into content a CXO, an ops leader, or an SMB shipper can each use.
- Own SEO and GEO end-to-end: keyword research, topical clusters, on-page optimization, internal linking, and content refreshes informed by GSC and ranking data.
- Run market and competitor research using a mix of human judgment and AI research tools; surface insights, not just summaries.
- Partner with sales, ops, and product to convert subject-matter expertise into publishable narratives — interviews, ghostwriting, briefings.
- Maintain brand voice, tone, and quality standards across human-written and AI-assisted output.
- Manage the content calendar, briefs, approvals, and on-time delivery in a modern PM stack.
- Support employer branding and internal communications.
What you bring
Domain
- Demonstrated B2B content experience in logistics, supply chain, freight, warehousing, transportation, or e-commerce fulfillment
- Working fluency in industry vocabulary, KPIs, and operating realities (not just buzzwords)
Craft
- Strong long-form and short-form writing — equal comfort with a 2,000-word whitepaper and a 6-line LinkedIn post
- Sharp editorial judgment: what to keep human, what to delegate to AI, what to cut
- Technical accuracy and marketing instinct in the same draft
AI fluency (required, not optional)
- Hands-on with leading LLM assistants — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot — for research, drafting, summarization, repurposing, and editing
- Prompt design skills: you can write reusable prompts and small "prompt chains," not just one-off questions
- Working knowledge of AI content platforms — Jasper, Copy.ai, Writesonic, or equivalent — and SEO-AI tools like Surfer SEO, Clearscope, Frase, or MarketMuse
- Comfortable with multimodal generation tools — Midjourney, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly for visuals; ElevenLabs, Descript, or HeyGen for audio/video repurposing
- Aware of AI's failure modes — hallucination, generic phrasing, brand-voice drift — and have a personal QA process to catch them
- Bonus: experience building AI agent workflows (Zapier AI, Make, n8n, or custom GPTs / Claude Projects) to automate content ops
Modern content tech stack
- CMS / web — WordPress, Webflow, Contentful, HubSpot CMS, or Sanity
- SEO and analytics — Ahrefs or SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4
- Marketing automation — HubSpot, Apollo, Clay
- Workflow and collaboration — Notion, Asana, ClickUp, Trello, Slack
- Design adjacency — Figma, Canva, Loom — enough to brief designers fluently and produce simple assets yourself
- Version-control comfort with Google Docs / Microsoft 365 review workflows
Ways of working
- Strong stakeholder management — SMEs, sales, ops, leadership
- Research depth and intellectual honesty
- Self-direction; you can manage a calendar without being chased
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing
- Prior B2B logistics content portfolio
- Familiarity with conversion copywriting frameworks (PAS, AIDA, JTBD)
- Experience with structured data / schema markup for SEO
- Hands-on experience training brand-voice prompt libraries or fine-tuning prompts on company corpus
