We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop, enhance, and optimize data platforms to meet the diverse needs of our stakeholders. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to deliver efficient and scalable data solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, enhance, and optimize data platforms to meet the diverse needs of stakeholders.
Design and implement data pipelines for efficient data collection, storage, and processing.
Build and maintain ETL processes to facilitate data movement and transformation across systems.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Break down complex requirements into tasks and assign them accordingly to the data and business analysts.
Track the execution of tasks and assist analysts whenever they encounter blockers.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all platforms and systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot platform performance, implementing enhancements and optimizations as needed.
Document platform architecture, workflows, and processes for internal reference.

REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data platform development, data engineering, or a similar role.Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, pySpark, and experience with data pipeline/ETL tools.
Experience with analytics tools like Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
Solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling best practices.
Proven expertise with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Fabric.
Hands-on experience with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Strong business communication skills in English.
Proven ability to manage and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Experience in identifying business opportunities, leading client engagements, and delivering compelling pre-sales presentations.
Capability to secure new business opportunities and drive client satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS CONSIDERED AN ADVANTAGE
Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is a plus.
