Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Application/Server Migration Specialist to lead and support migration of on‑premises applications and servers to Microsoft Azure and Azure Stack HCI. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure while ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Migrate applications and servers from on‑premises environments to Azure using Azure Migrate
- Design, implement, monitor, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure
- Develop Azure solutions using ARM templates or Terraform
- Support full application stacks from OS to application layer
- Troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems
- Manage Azure networking and security components
- Work with IT security teams to ensure cloud compliance and privacy
- Create implementation plans and execute cloud migration strategies
- Act as an Azure SME for cloud and hybrid cloud solutions
- Support virtualization technologies (VMware, hypervisors)
Must-Have Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure
- Hands-on experience with on‑prem to Azure migrations
- Experience using Azure Migrate
- Azure networking and security expertise
- Linux and Windows system administration
- Terraform or ARM template experience
- Understanding of virtualization and cloud computing
- Experience supporting and managing production Azure environments
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
Good-to-Have Skills
- Azure certification (Server or Cloud Administrator)
- Experience with Active Directory migrations
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Positive attitude and quality-focused mindset
