Job Description: Azure Integration Engineer (Azure iPaaS)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Azure Integration Engineer to design, develop, and manage cloud-based integration solutions using Microsoft Azure iPaaS services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and event-driven architectures using Azure services.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop integration solutions using Azure iPaaS components such as:
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Functions / Function Apps
- Azure API Management (APIM)
- Azure Service Bus (ASB)
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Build and maintain event-driven and message-based architectures using Service Bus queues and topics.
- Develop serverless applications using Azure Functions to implement business logic and workflows.
- Create and manage enterprise APIs using Azure API Management (APIM), including:
- API design, publishing, versioning, and security
- Policies implementation (throttling, transformation, authentication)
- Design and implement data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Develop workflow automation using Azure Logic Apps.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of integration systems.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration solutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.
Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Functions & Function Apps
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure API Management (APIM)
- Azure Service Bus (Queues, Topics, Subscriptions)
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Strong knowledge of:
- REST APIs, Webhooks, SOAP services
- Event-driven architecture & messaging patterns
- JSON, XML, XSLT transformations
- Programming experience in:
- C# / .NET / Node.js / Python (any one preferred)
- Experience with:
- Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)
- ARM Templates / Bicep / Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Understanding of:
- OAuth2, JWT, API security best practices
- Azure Monitor, Application Insights
Preferred Qualifications- Azure certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
- Azure Integration / Solutions Architect Certifications
- Experience with:
- Microservices architecture
- Hybrid integrations (on-premises to cloud)
- Event Grid / Event Hub (optional but good to have)
Soft Skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work in Agile environments
- Team collaboration and ownership mindset
Experience- 3–8+ years of experience in integration development
- At least 2+ years in Azure iPaaS services
Nice to Have- Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate)
- Experience in enterprise integration patterns
- Knowledge of DevOps and SRE practices
