About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Security Engineer/Expert to join our cybersecurity team at HireFlex. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) technologies, particularly within the Microsoft and SentinelOne ecosystems. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions to enhance our clients' security posture. The candidate will work closely with our Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response (IR) teams to develop proactive detection strategies, automate response workflows, and ensure continuous improvement of security operations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in cloud security and endpoint protection. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate, or equivalent are highly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in Kusto Query Language (KQL), automation tools like Azure Logic Apps, and integration with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow. Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals, and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS is essential.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and manage SIEM solutions using Microsoft Sentinel, including configuration of connectors, analytics rules, and hunting queries to identify threats effectively.
- Integrate and monitor endpoints utilizing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and SentinelOne, ensuring comprehensive visibility into endpoint security status.
- Leverage Microsoft Defender for IoT to provide threat detection and visibility for IoT and OT environments, enhancing the organization’s security coverage.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain KQL (Kusto Query Language) queries for threat detection, incident analysis, and proactive hunting activities.
- Design and automate security workflows and response playbooks using Azure Logic Apps, streamlining incident response processes.
- Integrate security alerts and automation workflows with ServiceNow ITSM to facilitate seamless incident management and resolution.
- Support incident triage, investigation, and response activities, ensuring timely resolution of security incidents while continuously refining detection use cases.
- Collaborate with SOC and Incident Response teams to develop security strategies, improve detection capabilities, and implement best practices.
