Azure Data Engineer Role 1: Azure Data Engineer

Mandatory Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) | Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)

Role Overview:
Design, implement, and manage data solutions on Microsoft Azure. Work with large-scale data pipelines, integration services, and cloud-based storage systems to deliver reliable, scalable data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and build end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Stream Analytics
• Develop and maintain data lakes and warehouses on Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure SQL
• Implement data transformation workflows using Spark, PySpark, and SQL
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability and quality
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot pipeline performance and data flows
• Apply DevOps practices using Azure DevOps for CI/CD of data solutions
Required Skills
• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Strong command of SQL, Python/PySpark for data processing
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, and Azure SQL Database
• Understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT patterns, and data governance
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and Git-based workflows
