Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for an Azure Data Engineer. The individual will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions and pipelines within the Azure ecosystem. Daily tasks include developing and optimizing ETL processes, creating data models, managing data warehousing solutions, and generating analytics reports to support business decisions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring data security and compliance will also be key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Data Engineering, including the development and optimization of data pipelines
- Experience with Data Modeling and designing scalable relational database architectures
- Strong skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and implementation
- Understanding of Data Analytics principles to extract actionable insights
- Experience working with Azure cloud platform services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate within a global, remote team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience with big data tools and frameworks is a plus
