We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect with strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable cloud-based data platforms on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate should have deep experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Synapse Analytics / Microsoft Fabric, with a strong focus on building modern data architectures. Experience with Microsoft Fabric is mandatory. Exposure to AI/ML solutions will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect modern data platform solutions on Microsoft Azure to support analytics and data-driven initiatives.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Design and manage scalable data lake architectures using Azure Data Lake for structured and unstructured data.
- Architect and optimize data warehousing and analytics solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
- Define best practices for data governance, security, performance optimization, and scalability across the data platform.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance on data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and integration patterns.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging Azure services and tools to improve the data ecosystem.
- Support teams in solution design reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Document architecture standards, data flows, and platform designs.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Azure Data Platform architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Lake (ADLS).
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
- Proven experience designing end-to-end enterprise data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling.
- Experience with cloud architecture principles and best practices.
- Experience working with AI / Machine Learning solutions on Azure.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics and AI-driven data platforms.
- Experience integrating AI services with data platforms.
Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
