Job Role: Azure Architect
Job Location: Bangalore & Hyderabad
Work Mode: (Hybrid)
Experience : 10+ years
Position :
- Manage private Azure subscriptions and cloud resources.
- Azure Dev/Ops (git repositories) and Pipeline automations
- Azure Data Factory (data sourcing, we will manage the platform, CI/CD and linked services)
- Azure Functions (meta data tagging, parquet conversion)
- ADLS2 configuration (immutable data ingestion layer, we will manage lifecycles, security, storage tiers, and policies)
- Azure RBAC (IAM) roles and policies scope
- Azure BICEP (Using Bicep to export configurations for use in Disaster recovery and for building subsequent subscription environments )
- Azure Cost Monitoring, thresholds, and Alerting
DBT Cloud
- Project creation and integration with Snowflake deployments
- This is where our transformation layer will be.
Snowflake databases
- We will be accessing adls2 historical parquet data as external tables from Snowflake
- Some Snowflake background would be desirable.
- Similarly to Azure cost monitoring, we will be monitoring query expense and need thresholds enforced.
- Experience with supporting 2 factor authentication in an Azure subscription.
- Experience with Azure subscription networking configurations, such as ADF linked services, ssh tunneling, and connecting to on prem VPN resources though private links
