Seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Architect with strong Linux expertise to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms. This role combines architecture leadership with deep hands-on Linux and cloud engineering capabilities.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ Years of experience with Azure and strong Linux background.
• 5+ Years of Azure architecture experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support mindset.
• Experience with IaC, DevOps, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Cloud & Architecture Responsibilities
• Design scalable and resilient Azure architectures.
• Implement networking, security, and governance.
• Lead migrations and hybrid cloud strategies.
• Optimize cost, performance, and reliability.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform/Bicep.
• Implement CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
Linux & Platform Engineering (Advanced)
• Deep expertise in Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) in production environments.
• Strong Bash scripting skills for automation, provisioning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience debugging CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network performance issues.
• Expertise with system internals (processes, kernel tuning, systemd, networking stack).
• Experience with log analysis (syslog, journald) and troubleshooting production incidents.
• Strong knowledge of SSH, PAM, firewall (iptables/nftables), and OS hardening.
• Experience managing large-scale Linux fleets using Ansible or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience running Linux workloads in Azure (VMs, VMSS, AKS).
• Experience with container runtimes and Kubernetes on Linux.
• Ability to support production outages and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
Shift Timings: 6 pm to 3 am IST
