Role Overview
We are hiring an Azure AI Engineer to design, build, and ship AI features across our product portfolio. You will work directly with our AI platform, voice, and document intelligence teams, taking models from prototype to production on Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI solutions using Azure AI Services covering Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Document Intelligence, Speech, Language, and Vision.
- Build and operate Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines on Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, and vector stores.
- Develop, deploy, and monitor models and AI endpoints using Azure AI Foundry and Azure Machine Learning.
- Integrate AI capabilities into Pulastya AI and the DAN platform, with strong attention to latency, cost, and accuracy.
- Implement responsible AI controls including content safety, prompt hardening, evaluation pipelines, and bias checks.
- Collaborate with product, data engineering, and DevOps teams to ship features end to end.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and observability for production AI workloads.
Other Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building AI or ML solutions in production.
- Strong Python skills, including FastAPI or similar service frameworks.
- Practical experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and prompt engineering for production use cases.
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD, containers (Docker), and at least one of Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with multilingual NLP, speech to text, or text to speech systems.
- Exposure to evaluation frameworks for LLM applications (Azure AI Evaluations, Ragas, custom harnesses).
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management.
- Additional certifications: AZ-900, DP-100, or AI-900.
