Job Summary:
Azuma Leasing is looking for a strong Director of Operations that is expected to have excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills. Position is to oversee all daily operations, driving strategic growth, and ensuring profitability for assigned territory, by managing staff, budgets, operations, marketing, and HR to align with company goals, focusing on efficiency, performance, and team leadership
Job responsibilities:
• Manage regional and area supervisors that include multiple warehouse locations across several states
• Communicating with team members and superiors, providing progress updates, and presenting ideas and suggestions
• Improving internal processes for better productivity
• Oversee all warehouse functions including fleet management and inventory management
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s policies and procedures
• Oversee P&L, budgets, and expenses for assigned territory
• Increasing regional sales, profits, and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
• Excellent leadership and organizational abilities
• Superior knowledge of industry regulations and operational guidelines
• Travel requirement within territory
• Proven track record of motivating, inspiring, and guiding teams to achieve goals.
• Strong understanding of budgets, financial analysis, and cost management.
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Proven knowledge of performance evaluation metrics in a business setting
• Must be able to work in extremely fast paced environment and be able to multi-task
• First-class people skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
