We currently have a Specialist position available with our client, Azets in the Quality, Risk and Compliance division.
Role Overview
To support the UK Compliance Director and Senior Manager in assisting the ongoing improvement of our internal quality and risk systems, processes and compliance and minimisation of regulatory risk. Awareness of and practical experience in the areas of AML / Investment Business / Practice Assurance / Client Money Regulations pre requisitee with good working knowledge of FCA regulations a benefit. Provide support to the UK Compliance team in driving continuous improvement and reducing regulatory risk.
Awareness and practical experience in AML, Investment Business, Practice Assurance, and Client Money Regulations are desirable, with a working knowledge of ICAEW or similar regulations.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure compliance with ICAEW requirements.
- Maintain accurate compliance data and manage Hive updates.
- Support processes for consistent regulatory practices across the UK.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider compliance team, service lines, stakeholders, and corporate functions.
Skills & Experience
- An understanding of regulatory bodies and their requirements.
- Experience in a regulated firm (FCA / ICAEW / ICAS / ACCA / CAI).
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Communication skills to support the business and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Comfortable working in a data-enabled environment.
